KARACHI, Sept 5: Froebel Education Centre clinched their matches in the boys and girls’ categories in the Karachi Inter-school Sports Week basketball tournament at the Bay View Academy on Wednesday.

In boys, Froebel emerged 21-12 victorious against Defence-American School while in the girls’ event they overcame Bay View Academy 18-17.

In another low scoring girls’ match, Indus Academy beat CAS School 8-7.

CAS and Bay View boys earned full points, beating Indus Academy and AMI 25-5, 22-13 respectively on Tuesday’s opening day.

In the two girls’ matches played on the first day, Froebel carved out a 18-6 win over Indus Academy while Bay View defeated CAS 14-2.—Sports Correspondent
