LAHORE, Sept 4: Some 28 coaches are attending the Olympic Council of Asia Technical Coaches Course in Karate, which started here at a local hotel on Tuesday.

The course is being directed by Ahmed Safi from Iran, who has a Masters in physical education and is a Black Belt 6 Dan. Safi also heads the technical committee of the Iran Karate Federation.

Those attending the course are Abdul Rahim, Sarfraz Mohammad, Majid Ali, Sundas Salam, Kaleemullah (Sindh), Mohammad Usman, Agha Mohammad, Shah Mohammad (Balochistan), Mohammad Nadeem, Mohammad Shahid Atiq, Fiaz Feroze, Mehmooda (Punjab), Baz Mohammad, Kamran Ali, Usman Tauqir (NWFP), Zahoor Ahmed, Shaukat Ali, Khalid Noor, Benish Khan, Kulsoom Hazara (Wapda), Mohammad Riaz, Ejaz Mahmood, Asif Nawaz (Army), Saif-ur-Rehman, Ghazanfar Ali (Police), Atta Butt, Mohammad Amjad (Railways) and Ghulam Mohammad (Air Force).
