Former SHO, seven policemen booked

KHAIRPUR, Sept 4: Former SHO, seven policemen and few people of Bhagat community were booked on Tuesday night.

Complainants Ashfaq Rehman Khuhro and Luqman lodged an FIR under section 17/3-EHO, 148, 149 PPC with the KT Kalori Police Station on Monday night against former SHO Inayat Mahar, Head Constable Iqbal Hyder, constables Abdul Rasool Shar, Azizullah Mallah, Bux Ali Siyal, Mukhtiar Ahmed Siyal, Ghulam Hyder Abbasi, Abdul Hameed Bhand and 17 people of Bhagat community. Compl-ainants stated in the FIRs that the said policemen along with Bhagat community persons took away 40 maunds of thrashed wheat, watches and other valuables from agricultural lands of complainants some three to four months back.
