Asim, Sadia to represent Pakistan

KARACHI, Sept 2: Two Pakistani paddlers, a man and a woman, are all set to fly to China on Sept 15 to compete in the upcoming Asian Table Tennis Championship being held there at Yong Zhou from Sept 17 to 23.

The players — Asim Qureshi and Sadia Falaksher — were selected after trials held in Lahore last month.

As many as 25 men and 10 women participated in the trials sans the reigning national women’s champion Ghalia Khursheed, who was indisposed at the time.
