Hostage freed

BADIN, Aug 28: Dacoits detained two journalists, Haji Khan Lashari and Amar Singh Rathore, president and vice-president of Talhar press club respectively, for ransom while released Mir Mohammad and Ali Ghulam on Sunday night. They reached their home in a shabby condition.

The dacoits have reportedly demanded Rs5 million for the release of the journalists.

The journalists were returning from Hyderabad on Friday night, when armed men in a double cabin vehicle kidnapped them at gunpoint near Tando Ghulam Hyder police station at Shah Wah and left the car of Haji Khan Lashari. Later, the car was found near Tando Ghulam Hyder police station.
