KARACHI: Man beats wife to death

KARACHI, Aug 28: A 35-year-old woman, mother of five, was allegedly beaten to death on Tuesday by her husband in Kausar Niazi Colony, Nazimabad.

Haideri police said suspect Zakir Hussain, an employee of the city government, was booked and arrested for killing his wife, Bushra.

They said the man hit the victim with clubs and she died before she could be taken to hospital. They said he suspected her of infidelity.

Her corpse was shifted to the Abbasi Shaheed Hospital, where sources said the woman had sustained multiple injuries to her head.
