PESHAWAR, Aug 27: The elected representatives of the Chitral district called on the provincial Minister for Local Government, Elections and Rural Development, Sardar Mohammad Idrees, and apprised him of the problems being faced by the people of the area.

The representatives who called on the minister separately included District Nazim of Chitral Syed Maghfirat Shah, Tehsil Nazim Chitral Sartaj Ahmad Khan and Tehsil Nazim Mastuj Shahzada Sikandarul Mulk.

They discussed various issues, particularly the problems faced by their area. The minister listened to their views patiently and promised that the problems would be resolved.—APP
