Two awarded death sentence

ABBOTTABAD, March 13: Additional District and Sessions Judge, Abbottabad, Zafar Iqbal, awarded death sentence to two accused in a murder case registered with the Havelian police in 1999.

The court found Bibi Jan and Rafiq Ahmed guilty of killing Mohammad Yousaf, Bibi Jan’s husband.

MATRIC EXAMS: Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education, Abbottabad, has dispatched roll numbers for the annual Matric exams to be held on March 27 to candidates, says a notification.

The BISE authorities have advised all the private candidates that if they don’t get the roll numbers by March 18, they should apply for the duplicate roll number slips. The notification further says that after March 21 no duplicate roll number would be issued.—Correspondent
