Book launching ceremony

NAWABSHAH, Aug 26: The launching ceremony of two books of Mohammed Laiq Zardari was held at a local restaurant here on Saturday evening.

The books are “Tarikh Zila Nawabshah” and “Kayam Roh Rihan” an autobiography.

Former secretary culture Sindh Gul Mohammed Umrani presided over the function while zila nazim Faryal Talpur was the chief guest.

The speakers appreciated the efforts of Mr Zardari and said that he had written the books with an open mind, honesty and hard work.

JACKAL ATTACK: More than 16 people, including two children, were bitten by a jackal at Qazi Ahmed link road on Sunday.

More than 12 persons were injured when a jackal attacked them at Arbab stop, Qazi Ahmed link road on Sunday.

The jackal later ran away towards village Lakhmir Zardari where it attacked two children and four goats.

The animal was later shot dead by the villagers.

All the injured were brought to Nawabshah Medical College Hospital for vaccination.—Correspondent
