MUZAFFARABAD, Aug 25: Apropos of a news item about the treatment abroad of Azad Jammu and Kashmir President Raja Zulqarnain Khan, which appeared in the August 24 issue of Dawn, an AJK health department official said here on Saturday that “no final decision has yet been taken in this regard.”

“The decision would be taken in the light of expert opinion of members of medical board and professional opinion of eminent surgeons within the country as per government rules and regulations,” the official said in a statement.

Dawn Muzaffarabad Correspondent adds: The Dawn story was based on the opinion submitted to the health secretary by the medical board. It did not say that any decision had been taken by the government.
