PESHAWAR, Aug 25: A man was killed and three other persons suffered injuries in an attack on a tailor’s shop at Azakhel bazaar in Mathani area on Saturday.

Witnesses said the attackers first opened fire and then hurled hand grenades at the shop resulting in killing of a passerby, Kabil Khan.

An FIR was registered at the Mathani police station on the complaint of the injured shop owner, Anwer Shah. He charged his rivals, including Murad, Qayyum, Amanullah, Nazir, Yousaf and others with the attack.

He said that he was in his shop along with his employee Sajjad when the alleged culprits attacked them.

A minor boy Gul Zaman also received injuries in the attack, the complainant said.
