HYDERABAD, Aug 24: Re-sidents came out on the roads in protest against non-supply of electricity and accumulation of rainwater in their areas on Thursday night and Friday.

The residents of Ganjju Takkar hill in UC-16 Latifabad blocked Hyderabad-Tando Mohammad Khan road in protest against non-supply of electricity in their area by Hesco.

They burnt tyres and caused suspension of traffic.

They said that there was no power in their area for the past three days as their area needed a new transformer.

UC-16 Nazima Sajida Baloch said she had talked to Hesco authorities for a new transformer for the area.

Residents of Faraz Villas blocked Wadhu Wah road on Thursday night against accumulation of rainwater in their area.
