LAHORE, Aug 23: A traffic warden who found an abandoned purse carrying foreign currency, jewellery and a cell phone at New Airport, handed over it to the woman who owned it on Thursday.

According to a release, Farrukh Aftaab, deployed at New Airport, found the purse on airport premises.

After dialling different numbers stored in the cell phone he found in the purse, he finally contacted one Madiha, a resident of 40-DHA, and informed her about the situation. The woman claimed to be the owner of the purse.

He returned the purse to the woman after she identified her belongings.

Chief Traffic Officer Ghulam Mehmood Dogar announced cash and certificate for the warden as a reward for his honesty.
