SIALKOT, Aug 22: The tehsil municipal administration (TMA) has declared 18 more housing schemes illegal in the city.

A Sialkot TMA official told newsmen that there were a total of 20 private housing schemes operational in the city, out of which only two were registered with the tehsil municipal administration.

He said the TMA had issued warning notices to owners of these illegal schemes, asking them to adopt the legal process otherwise their colonies would be cancelled.

About a year ago, the Sialkot TMA had declared 47 private housing schemes illegal in two phases. — Correspondent
