JACOBABAD, Aug 22: District Nazim Jacobabad Begum Saeeda Soomro has said experiments lead to new inventions which she discovers at the Bahria Foundation College on every visit.

She expressed these feeling during the inauguration of Play Land for children in the College, on Wednesday.

She said spreading education and literacy was her first priority and Bahria College was playing a vital role in relinquishing her thirst for knowledge.

Principal of the college, Gada Hussain Khokhar appreciated cooperation and interest of Begum Saeeda Soomro in the promotion of education.

Dr Hashmat Affandi of the House of Charity of America and Chairman Health Committee Hafiz Afzal Khan Khoso were also present.

Hashmat Affandi told journalists that a centre for training of nurses and doctors would be set-up in Jacobabad by November. Nazim said about 100 cleft lips, fire burn, and palate patients had so far been

registered in Jacobabad. They will be operated upon in November.

She said about Rs100,000 was required for each operation which will be borne by the House of Charity America.
