Protest held against loadshedding

LAKKI MARWAT, Aug 21: People of Shahbazkhel and other villages blocked the Indus Highway on Monday night in protest against loadshedding.

Eyewitnesses said that protesters assembled on the highway near the Shahbazkhel village and blocked the road for traffic. They chanted slogans against Pesco.

A police team rushed to the area and tried to cool them down.

The protesters dispersed after the power supply was restored to the area.
