QUETTA, Aug 19: Two suspects facing murder and theft charges escaped after breaking a police lock-up early Sunday morning. They were locked up in Usta Muhammad police station.

Police raided several places but so far the suspects have evaded arrest.

Police officials identified the suspects as Ghulam Nabi Burda and Norez Umrani.

They said that they had been arrested six days ago.

Jaffarabad DPO Sohail Ahmed Shiekh ordered a probe and said that strict action would be taken against officials for negligence.—Correspondent
