Work on public park begins

MARDAN, Aug 19: Mardan Nazim Himayatullah Mayar inaugurated work on a public park on the premises of the sports complex here on Sunday.

Speaking on the occasion, the nazim said the park would not only provide entertainment opportunities to the people of Mardan but the surrounding districts.

The ceremony was presided over by the district council convener, Ibrahim Biland. On the occasion, the nazim said that a portion of the park, Wonderland Amusement Park, would be opened for the public on the coming Eidul Fitr.
