LAHORE, Aug 18: Labeeb Ahmed of Garrison Golf Club played superbly and emerged victorious in the 15 to 18 year age category of the Independence Day junior golf championship at the Lahore Gymkhana on Saturday.

Asad Zia of Lahore Gymkhana played excellently in the age 13 to 15 age group while in the 10 to 12 year group Abdullah Saeed Gymkhana topped.

The best child player was Saif Mehmood of Royal Palm Golf Club.

Kids from the Lahore Garrison Golf Club, Royal Palm Golf Club and Gymkhana Golf Club were eligible for participation in this event.

Results: 15 -18 years: Labeeb Ahmed (Gar); Tehmasip Mubashir (Gym)_ ;Faizan Mohsin (Gym). 13 - 15 years: Asad Zia (Gym); Shamil Mazhar (Gym); Ahmed Hassan (RPGCC). 10 -12 years: Abdullah Saeed (Gym); Rafey Saigal (RPGCC); Hamza Tariq (Gym). Under 10 years: Saif Mehmood (RPGCC); Umair Malik(Gym);Zain Ahmed (Gym).
