MIRPURKHAS, Aug 16: The Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE) Mirpurkhas has announced the result of Higher Secondary School Certificate examination Part-II (Humanities and Commerce group) on Thursday.

Mohammed Saeed Landar of the Government Boys Higher Secondary School Garang Bungalow, Sanghar district, seat No. 43111, secured first position by obtaining 806 marks, Mehboob Ali Jamali of the same school, seat No. 43109, stood second with 805 marks, while Saima Kanwal the Arain of Government Girls College Sanghar, seat No. 41099, bagged third position in Arts Group.

In Commerce Group first three positions went to the Government Ibn-e-Rushd Girls College Mirpurkhas as Raisa Maher, seat No. 46034, Misbah Jatoi, seat No. 46033, and Izka Iqbal seat No. 46029, secured first, second and third positions respectively.

About 3,159 girls and boys appeared in inter arts examination out of which 2,375 were declared successful with an overall result remaining at 75.3 per cent.

In inter commerce examination total 261 girls and boys students appeared with 219 declared successful.
