KARACHI, Aug 15: Nine vessels carrying tallow, chemicals and containers are expected to arrive at the outer anchorage on Thursday, according to KPT sources.

Berthing activity at the wharves was active where 11 ships notably Mol Admiration, PAC Aantna, Cosmos Lian Yun Gang, Satha Bhum, Oel Spirit to unload and load containers, Chemstar Brave, Iran Yamin, Song Shan and Lucky Arrow to offload chemicals, steel and to load cement were berthed.

Sailing was also active as a dozen ships including Wan Hai-311, Skala, Lalazar, Corin Thaukos, Adriatic Arrow and Iran Yamin were departed. While BI Saida, APL Sokhna, Chemstar Brave, Satha Bhum and Lucky Arrow are due to sail out on Thursday.

A total tonnage of 109m tons comprising 52,726 tons of export cargo including 16,500 tons of cement and 55,132 tons of import tonnage was handled.

The following ships are due on Thursday: Golden Tap, Ibrahim, Orient Rose, Al-Maqwa, Hyundai Spirit, Iran Sattari, Conti Harmony and BBC with tallow, chemicals, crude oil and containers.
