LANDI KOTAL, Aug 13: A compound in the Jamrud tehsil of Khyber Agency was raided on Monday and 120kg of heroin was seized from there, according to officials. They said that law-enforcement personnel raided the compound in the Wazir Dand area of Jamrud where they recovered considerable amount of heroin. Nobody was arrested from the place but a case was registered.

An official said the compound was owned by an Afghan national, identified as Muhammad Rahim, and heroin was being manufactured there.

CLASH: Two groups clashed over the ownership of a property in the Neki Khel area of Landi Kotal. Sources said that the two sides attacked each other’s positions with rockets and heavy machine guns. No casualty was reported.
