LAKKI MARWAT, Aug 13: The Lakki Marwat chapter of the Pakistan People’s Party (Sherpao) on Monday elected new office-bearers for the district and the Naurang tehsil. The election process was conducted at a meeting attended by a large number of activists and workers. Convener Haji Mohammad Azim Khan Begukhel presided over the meeting.

The participants unanimously elected Haji Mohammad Azim Khan Begukhel as district president and Haji Isamgul as general secretary.

Other district office-bearers are: Haji Saifullah Jan Khan (senior vice-president), Fareedullah Tajazai (vice-president), Abdul Hamid Jami (joint secretary), Haji Gul Mohammad (information secretary) and Imam Khan (press secretary).

The newly-elected office-bearers of the Naurang tehsil include Aslam Khan Wazir (president), Zar Badshah (general secretary), Haji Hamidullah Khan (senior vice-president), Taj Ali Khan, Asghar Khan and Qudratullah Khan (vice presidents), Rustam Khan (deputy general secretary), Haji Syed Nawaz Marwat (joint secretary), Salim Khan Niazi (information secretary) and Malik Saifullah Khan alias Ihsan (finance secretary).
