GST returns filing date extended

ISLAMABAD, Aug 13: The Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) has extended the timing for filing of sales tax and federal excise returns for the month of July 2007. According to a sales tax circular issued on Monday the date for filing of sales tax and federal excise return for the tax period July has been extended to August 20.

The FBR, however, again emphasised that all registered persons shall file sales tax and federal excise return (web based or normal) on the new format.
