NAUSHAHRO FEROZE, Aug 12: Activists of the Sindhi Adabi Sangat and different political parties staged a sit-in outside the press club here on Sunday demanding removal of encroachments from the government Madressah and high school.

The protesters including workers of Sindhi Adabi Sangat, JUI-F, JSM, SNP, PPP, Shehri Ittehad and HRCP, led by Dr Mushtaq Phul, Dr Abdul Qadir Memon, Mazhar Khaskheli, Mashooq Dharejo, Maulana Abdul Rehman Dangraj, Mohammad Hashim Khoso, Aziz Phul and Qasim Isran, took part in the protest opposite the press club for two hours.

They said that the encroachers enjoyed the support of influential people, but the struggle against them would continue till its success.

HUNGER STRIKE: The employees of food department, led by Sindh Food Employees Union president Younus Rajpar, observed token hunger strike on the third consecutive day opposite the press club on Sunday, demanding promotions, uniform and payment of difference.
