Mengal assails govt policies

QUETTA, Aug 11: Veteran Baloch nationalist leader Sardar Ataullah Mengal said on Saturday that the wrong polices of the government had brought the country to the brink of disaster.

Speaking to some hunger strikers at a camp of the Baloch Students Organisation (BSO) by telephone from his native Wadh town, the former chief minister of Balochistan said that Gen Musharraf was confused and was finding no way to get rid of his sins.

“Gen Musharraf has taken the country to a point of disgrace in the eyes of the world,” Mengal said.—Staff Correspondent
