Robbers make millions

LAHORE, Aug 11: Five robbers took away cash, jewellery and a car worth millions from a house in Defence area on Saturday. Fazeelat Bibi told police that armed men barged into her hosue in Q-Block, held the inmates at gunpoint, collected Rs150,000, jewellery worth hundreds of thousands of rupees along with other valuables and drove away her car.

Two robbers burst into the clinic of Dr Tariq at Model Town Morr, locked him up in a room and took away cash, a cell phone and other valuables.

Two armed outlaws deprived Haji Aslam, owner of a factory, in Bilal Gunj of his wallet containing cheques worth Rs250,000 and Rs25,000, besides necessary documents, and managed escape.

Two unidentified men tried to make a forced entry into Fatima’s house in Wapda Town, but when she raised alarm they escaped after snatching her cell phone.

Two armed men stormed into the a gas cylinder outlet and took away Rs23,000 and a cell phone at gunpoint.

Some outlaws took away Safdar’s cell phone after breaking the side window glass of his car, parked outside his house at Sadar main bazaar in North Cantt.
