HYDERABAD, Aug 11: A devotee of Guru Gurpat temple in Seroghat complained on Saturday that the Aukaf department had sealed his room in the temple, where he had been living for last 30 years, without giving him prior notice and appealed to authorities to allow him to resume his religious duties at the temple.

Mr Arjundas Jumnani said at a news conference at the press club that he had been paying monthly rent to the department but on Aug 7 some vested interests in collusion with the department got his room sealed on Aug 7, which was totally illegal.

Moreover, he had been forcibly stopped from the worship of his Guru and service of guests, he said.
