Baton-charge

DERA ISMAIL KHAN, March 11: Dozens of people received serious injuries, when police resorted to baton-charge and tear-gas shelling at a concert organized at the District Sports Stadium in connection with the horse and cattle show on Saturday night.

More than 20,000 people were present in the stadium to hear famous singer Waris Beg but due to mismanagement, the police had to resort to baton-charge to restore order at the venue.
