Outlaws held

ATTOCK, Aug 10: The district police claimed to have arrested 12 outlaws in separate attempts at different areas of the district during the last 24 hours. Fatehjhang police arrested four accused Shamroz Khan, Nasir Ahmad, Ameer Afsar and Waseem on possessing 470 gram Hashish, two pistols and five bullets.

Rangu and Hazro police arrested Mohammad Jan, Mumtaz Khan, Tehsil Khan, Mohammad Naeem, Ghulam Mustafa, Ahmad Khan and Sajjad, and reportedly recovered 1.6kg hashish, two pistols and two bullets from their possession.

While the anti-car lifting cell Mullah Mansoor, on the main GT road, reportedly recovered a car (LWA-3731) from Ahsan Ali, resident of Lahore, which had been lifted form Anarkali and was being taken to the NWFP with a fake number (LZY-1850).

Separate cases were registered by respective police stations against the accused.
