SC issues notices

QUETTA, Aug 2: Justice Javed Iqbal of the Supreme Court has issued notices to the advocate-general of Balochistan, registrar Balochistan High Court (BHC) and chairman Balochistan Public Service Commission (BPSC) on an appeal filed by a candidate who claimed that he had passed an examination test but was not called for an interview.

The single-judge bench on Thursday ordered issuance of notices to the respondents in his chamber for Friday on the appeal filed by Ghulam Azam challenging the dismissal of his constitutional petition by the BHC on October 12, 2006.—Correspondent
