HYDERABAD, March 10: The ex-employees of the Sindh Road Transport Corporation on Sunday resolved to continue their hunger strike outside the Hyderabad press club till the payment of their outstanding dues.
The SRTC Ex-employees Action Committee leaders, Ghulam Mohammad Depar, Syed Irshad Ali Shah and others told newsmen at the hunger strike camp that the ex-employees had been offered a package by the government that they would be paid Rs150 million if they surrendered 40 per cent of the outstanding dues and 15 per cent mark-up which they had rejected.
Meanwhile, it has been learnt that the Sindh finance minister has again summoned the leaders of the Action Committee to Karachi for negotiations on March 13 to sort out the issue.
