He was talking to journalists on the premises of a court on Tuesday where he filed an application seeking quashing of case filed against him by the Town Police.

He said he would file a constitutional petition against the Sindh Chief Minister Dr Arbab Ghulam Rahim who had accused him of keeping two women Raj Bai and Jama in illegal confinement and added that these women were brought for interrogation under the directives of Supreme Court to investigate the Mannu Bheel case.

He said the powers of police to keep people in wrongful confinement should be done away with.

NOTICE: Additional Sessions Judge-II Mirpurkhas on Tuesday issued notice to the deputy district attorney on an application filed by former DIG Mirpurkhas Salimullah Khan seeking quashing of a case filed against him by the Town Police. The court has fixed it for August 21.
