KARACHI, July 31: Two container ships were accommodated berths at QICT during the last 24 hours, said a PQA press release on Tuesday. Meanwhile, three more ships carrying containers, chemicals and furnace oil also arrived at the outer anchorage. Five ships, CMA CGM Turkey, Maersk Darmstadt, Socotra, Yanaseni and Hamburg Harmony, were busy in loading and unloading containers, chemicals and iron ore.

A cargo volume of 63,623 tons comprising 41,421 tons of import anf 22,202 tons of export tonnage was handled.

Sailings were active as Socotra and Yanaseni left the port.
