KARACHI, March 9: The heads of schools and colleges in the city have been asked to take strict measures to maintain sanctity of the educational institutions, particularly those for girls, during educational functions.
A directive to this effect has been issued by the Executive District Officer Education.
The directive said any functions/celebrations arranged in the educational institutions should have prior permission from the district officer concerned.
Any activity in the educational institutions, which may violate religious/cultural values will not be allowed, it added.—APP
