MARDAN, July 25: The senior vice-president of the Pakistan Muslim League (Nawaz), Saranjam Khan, has said that formation of All-Party Democratic Movement (APDM) is a landmark decision in the political history of the country.

Addressing party workers on occasion of joining of the party by a number of women from PPP-S and JI here on Tuesday, he said the joining of PML-N by more workers showed that the party was popular among people despite the fact that it was in opposition.

He said that Benazir Bhutto did not join the APDM because she was in contact with the military ruler but now she had hinted to come back to the country in September.

He said that doors of the APDM were open and Benazir could join it anytime as the country was passing through a crucial phase.

Saranjam Khan said Pervez Musharraf had become a security risk for the country and his stay in the government was meant more killings of people.
