Four of a family die in accident

SHIKARPUR, July 24: Four members of a family have been killed and two others injured in a collision between a car and coach near Rahimabad Turn on Khanpur-Shikarpur Road, on Tuesday.

Noor Begum was killed on the spot while three identified as the SDO Highway Thul, Mohammad Khan Panhiar 45 and his two sons Saifur Rehman 22 and Munir 13 died at the Civil Hospital Shikarpur. Two injured children of the deceased Mohammad Khan, Ms Nusrat and her brother Nisar Hussain had been referred to the Larkana Civil Hospital.

The deceased and injured were coming in the car (AKM-988) from Thul for Shikarpur when a speedy coach (C-1425) going coming Karachi to Punjab hit them.

Police arrested the coach driver Awais Ali and impounded his vehicle.

A case had been registered by the Khanpur Police.
