Lebanon voices solidarity

ISLAMABAD, July 23: Prime Minister of Lebanon Fuad Siniora telephoned President Gen Pervez Musharraf and Prime Minister Shaukat Aziz on Sunday to express his government’s solidarity with Pakistan in the wake of recent terrorist attacks.

This was said by Foreign Office spokesperson Tasnim Aslam at a news briefing here on Monday.

The Lebanese prime minister also expressed his government’s support and solidarity with Pakistan in its ongoing efforts at combating terrorism.—Q.A.
