KARACHI, July 23: Muttahida Qaumi Movement chief Altaf Hussain has said that his party and the entire Urdu-speaking community would fight every ‘conspiracy being hatched’ against them and would not give up their struggle against feudalism.

In a telephonic address from London to members of the party’s coordination committee on Monday, Mr Hussain said that through a conspiracy ‘propaganda is being dished out against the MQM and the Urdu-speaking community’ that these people were against religion and therefore, ‘they should be destroyed’.

He said the May 12 bloodbath, too, was a part of the conspiracy. “Some elements in the establishment want to restrict our activities to Mohajirs in order to curb our struggle for a peaceful revolution”.

He said the MQM and its supporters had ‘through unity foiled many a conspiracy’ and no power on earth could ‘force us to abandon our struggle against feudalism’.

Mr Hussain called upon MQM workers to inform the masses about the conspiracy against the party.
