LAHORE, July 18: A 24-year-old employee of a salt factory drowned in the Ravi while swimming near toll plaza on Wednesday. Edhi officials said Zafar Iqbal, son of Akram (of Saeed Park), was an employee of Namakwali factory situated on the river bank.
He came to the river for swimming but drowned.
The body could not be fished out till the filing of this report. Zafar is survived by a wife and a daughter.
