MULTAN, July 17: A man committed suicide after killing his estranged wife and her two aunts in a village near Chishtian town on Tuesday. Muhammad Javed of Khaimgarh, Bahawalnagar tehsil, wed Mazharaan of Chak No. 4 of Ford Wah, Chishtian tehsil, some six months ago. Differences developed between the couple a few days ago and Mazharaan went to her parents’ house.
Two days ago, Javed’s parents went to his in-laws’ house to bring Mazharaan back, but she refused. This development enraged Javed, who shot dead Mazharaan and her aunts Shamim Akhtar and Siddiqa. After killing the three, Javed committed suicide.
