MUZAFFARABAD, July 14: The AJK forest department has evicted a gang of land grabbers in an anti-encroachment drive in the Leepa valley and recovered more than 125 acres of forest land.

The AJK Ehtesab Bureau had given instructions to the department to carry out the drive.

The land grabbers, comprising influential people, had occupied the forest land for over eight years, an official told reporters on Friday.
