SAO PAULO, July 13: Brazil have issued a warrant for the arrest of Kia Joorabchian, the agent of Argentine footballer Carlos Tevez, and the former head of club Corinthians, on suspicion of money laundering, judicial sources said on Friday.

The charges relate to the financing of the Corinthians football club in Sao Paolo.

Joorabchian, a Briton of Iranian origin who is the head of MSI, the company that holds the financial rights of Corinthians, is alleged to have been involved in money laundering with Iranian-born businessman Nojan Bedround and Russian investor Boris Berezovski.
