Two robbers shoot motorcyclist

LAHORE, July 13: Two armed men shot at a motorcyclist while looting another citizen in Ichhra on Friday afternoon. Shabaan was on way when two motorcyclists deprived him of his wallet and a cell phone in the main bazaar. In the meantime, a motorcyclist, Ashiq, reached closer to them and the robbers thinking that he was coming to stop them opened fire on him. Ashiq was rushed to the Services Hospital.

Three robbers barged into a department store in Sabzazar and took away Rs41,000 in cash, calling cards and cell phones.

Two gun-toting men stormed into the department store of Ashraf on Khokhar Road and made off with Rs25,000 in cash and a cell phone.

Shafi was deprived of Rs6,600 and a cell phone by two armed men in front of the agriculture department’s office in Qila Gujjar Singh and Shahzad of Rs5,000 and a cell phone in Factory Area.

Two robbers deprived a passer-by of cash and a cell phone in Gulberg.

STOLEN: Two cars were lifted from Islampura and as many from Ghalib Market and Factory Area. Four motorcycles were stolen from Shadbagh, Shadman, Gulberg and Mughalpura. —Staff Reporter
