MIRPURKHAS, July 13: Hundreds of resident of Chandi Ram Para, Umerkot protested against power deprivation for last 15 days. They raised slogans against the SDO Hesco for their plight.
Protesters led by Dileep and Chandio marched on main roads, raised slogans against the SDO Hesco Umerkot sub-division and on reaching the press club condemned the negligent attitude of Hesco officials.
They said they were deprived of power supply for 15 days which also affected water supply.
They said they informed SDO but nothing had happened as yet. They demanded the Chairman Wapda to suspend the SDO, restore power supply and punish the concerned officials.
