Capital markets day in New York

KARACHI, July 11: The Central Depository Company of Pakistan (CDC) observed Pakistan Capital Markets Day in New York on Wednesday in collaboration with Citibank and Pakistani brokerage firms Invest-Cap Securities and AKD Securities. The day was earlier observed at London Stock Exchange, says a press release.

The celebration aimed at attracting investment in Pakistani capital markets by arranging meetings of New York based fund managers with Pakistani companies, which included DG Khan Cement, Askari Commercial Bank, MCB Bank, Bank of Punjab, Habib Bank Limited TRG Pakistan, Lucky Cement, National Bank of Pakistan and Kot Addu Power Company.

The 3-day event encapsulated around a hundred one-on-one meetings of Pakistani companies with leading USA-based fund managers that brought immense international awareness and interest in the thriving Pakistani economy.
