Boy killed as wall caves in

KHAIRPUR, July 9: A boy was killed in Drib Mehar Shah Town, Gambat Taluka when the wall of a house fell on him on Monday. Reports said the boy Azizullah Shah was playing outside his house when part of the wall fell killing him instantly.

The wall, according to reports, gave in as it become fragile in recent rains.

SUICIDE: A youth, resident of Luqman Mohalla attempted suicide on Monday due to unemployment.

According to reports, Ashraf son of Manzoor belonged to a poor family and was depressed due to unemployment and consumed pesticide to end his life. He was rushed to the Civil Hospital in unconscious condition where doctors struggled to save his life.

In another incident, a woman Ms Husna was brought to the Civil Hospital because of the snake bite.

RALLY: The PML activists took out a rally in support of President General Pervez Musharraf and Chief Minister Sindh, Dr Arbab Ghulam Rahim, on Monday.

Participants carried placards and banners inscribed with slogans in support of the government.

The procession started from Jado Shah Chowk and after marching through different roads reached at Panj Gola Chowk, where leaders like Syed Mohib Shah and Dr Zulfiqar Tunio addressed the participants.
