NAUSHAHRO FEROZE, July 9: A big rally was taken out against Hesco by the residents of Moro, including political activitsts, on Monday. Protesters led by poet Rashid Morai, Azeem Sindhi, Fateh Ali Shah, Khan Dahri, Latif Raho, Allah Dino Almani and others complained of unannounced loadshedding.

Later, they observed hunger strike for four hours.

They said it was Hesco’s routine practice to shut down electricity for hours without any intimation thus creating hardships for people of every age and all trades. They also objected to inflated bills and slated the laziness of Hesco authorities in removing faults in transformers after many weeks.

STRIKE: The citizens of Naushahro Feroze, old students continued their token hunger strike on seventh consecutive day demanding removal of encroachment from the government Madressah and high school playground on Monday.

Protesters were led by Naib Nazim UC Naushahro Feroze, Dr Abdul Qadeer.

SUICIDE: A young man died after committing suicide in Moorath village, near Kandiaro.

Ahmed Ali Rind 18 consumed pesticide on Sunday and was admitted to a private hospital in Kandiaro where he died on Monday. The reason was said to be domestic problem.

In another incident Ghulam Shabbir Depar who was seriously injured in a road accident near Kandiaro died in Hyderabad where he was taken for treatment some three days back.
