MULTAN, July 6: A two-day capacity building workshop for town monitoring committees, organised by the National Commission for Human Development (NCHD), was concluded here on Friday.

Members of Mumtazabad Town Council attended the workshop.

NCHD media representative Amir Yousaf said the capacity development programme (CDP) was launched with the objective to support the devolution plan through the local government Ordinance (LGO), 2001.

The programme focused on capacity building in planning and budgeting, activation of district and town monitoring committees and formation of citizens community boards (CCBs). — Correspondent
