Gas supply to Quetta, four districts restored

QUETTA, July 5: Gas supply to Quetta and the four other districts of Balochistan was restored on Thursday after a week’s suspension.The supply was suspended on June 27 when a portion of the 560-foot main transmission pipeline which passes through Bolan river bed was washed away.

Sources in the Sui Southern Gas Company said that repair work over the past nine days was disrupted several times because of flood.

They said that gas supply to industrial customers would also be resumed soon.
